Wednesday’s meme of the day was sillyphobia, a revealing of a person’s strange fears. A quick search on the #sillyphobia hash reveals the originator to be a fellow #dmtweetup member, @Kathy_L. The scope of #sillyphobia was nothing like the reach of #mangavatar a few weeks ago, but it was certainly fun to track the topic.
Having personally met a good number of the participants helped me enjoy the event more than had I not known them. Some peoples’ fear of ants, the dark, and cotton balls was rather surprising. I’ll admit it – I laughed at you, even laughed out loud on a few occasions.
I hope this is just the beginning of #sillyphobia. It’s a great way to give other people a good laugh while revealing juicy little tidbits about yourself. Not to be left out, my silly phobia has to be thinking the curtains getting blown around by the wind at night are people walking around my room. Makes my skin crawl just thinking about it…
What are your silly fears? Tag them on twitter with #sillyphobia.

Must give proper credit to @CatRocketship who started the convo. I was the first to hashtag it as #sillyphobia, but she was the first to share a phobia. (Which, I believe had to do with unknowingly passing a counterfeit bill and spending the rest of her life in jail.) Thanks to her for a great meme. And thanks to you for the mention.
